Great shots! It looks like the steel is about halfway up, based on the curvature. Is that a safe assumption?

This one's a bit older than giallo's brilliant updates.

Cladding looks pretty neat.

Much more than halfway up.
I counted about 30 floors out of 43.

Nice updates Giallobonono and Staff. Has the rumour of the height increase been settled yet?

AntonAusTirol,
Since the sign still says 220m I wouldn't put my hopes to high...
I wonder where that rumour came from?

I'm afraid I have to agree. Someone should ask an engineer at the site.

I can't remember where the info came from, but I'm pretty sure it's cited somewhere in this thread.

Here's the origin of the rumour :

I like the precision of the new height figure. It adds credibility.

I'm going to say it probably won't change, but this being Shanghai anything is possible.

If it does reach 288.8m, it will add incredible depth and shape to the Pudong Skyline.

giallo,
First day we see the sun in 3 weeks and you don't inform me that you're going out for a session?
Damn you.

This looks like it's taken from pretty high up - which building?

From this vantage point, the area looks dense.

I would have told you, but it was around 2pm, so I figured you'd still be in school.

Awesome, just totally awesome.
What did you do lurking around the northern Bund-area last nite, Anton?
