Everytime MonkeyRonin posts a Toronto set, I get sad it's not summer yet.

Good stuff.

took a few pics in Kerrisdale today, It reminds me of the west end albeit quieter and shorter. West 41st ave is a popular and busy shopping street, the east and west boulevard as they are called in this area are also home to shops and restaurants, with new development mainly happenning south of 41st. the arbutus greenway runs down the middle and will one day be a streetcar line I think, it was converted from unused rail tracks to a popular walk and bicycle path. It attracts some upscale little boutiques and is more catering the chinese residents now.

Kerrisdale looks nice and does look quite a bit like the West End. I just realized that this hood (along with the West End to a lesser degree) and Calgary's Beltline and Edmonton's Oliver share a common aesthetic. That would be blocks of multi-family apartments (with generous setbacks) mixed in with some Edwardian housing and anchored by modern-ish fairly wide commercial streets. Toronto has a bit of this as well (say Six Points) but definitely not to the same degree. Anyone else notice the similarities? Seems to be unique to these cities.

Maybe we should think of capping the number of photos again? I mean Kerrisdale is nice, but I don't think we need 200 photos of it particularly if we're going to allow bots running around to quote the entire fucking post.

Agreed. Only if somebody posts and the page flips over right after is it worth reposting an entire posts pictures.

I hate traffic, I hate driving on the 401 through Toronto. Nevertheless, that pic is Wooty.
