Did you ever see a bus stopped there? My impression was always that the 466 never actually stopped there (even initially when the schedule showed service). That seems to be supported by your link.

But back to the original point, yes the Domain was anti-bus, but it's _slightly_ better now, with both the 466 circulator and the metrorapid stopping there.

In what way do you see the route as suboptimal?

Another new TOD development near MLK Station:
http://www.citylineaustin.com

It'll be in the north side of MLK, across the street from the station and the new developments currently in construction.

I guess this is a new site plan? They got shot down not too long ago by the CC because of NIMBY pissing and moaning.

I was over at my new dentist at Corazon and noticed lots of work being done in the Saltillo tract. I'm assuming this is the beginning of the project to relocate the rail track to the southern portion of the parcel.

Hopefully this means the project will be moving forward after being stalled for a couple years. This is a huge project - 800 apartments and retail including a full service grocery store.
This proposed grocery store is relatively close to the one proposed up the road at One Two East. I would be pleasantly surprised if both get built as full service 70-80K sq. ft. stores as proposed.

Lots of progress on the Arnold lately.

Not so much visible progress happening on the other side of the tracks.

" The Orchard" development at Pleasant Valley and Webberville is starting to fill in.

And another new development tucked in behind the Orchard, I'm not sure what it's called.

I like the colors too but a little variation to the window shapes/sizes would have been nice.

Not really a fan of that one. Looks like an old motel to me.
