The Sheraton Tower II has recently started construction so I edited Jiminy's post on the first page to reflect that.

Has 5th and Yesler started construction yet???

2200 looks like it will be a nice addition to Seattle's streetscape. Any construction updates on this project?

Well . . . does anyone know if 5th & Yesler has started construction yet?

I might be going downtown on Wednesday, maybe I'll check it out myself, since no one wants to answer.

^ No it hasn't. Don't think they're going to start that one til they land a tenant. The next office tower to start in downtown Seattle will probably be one of proposals in the Denny Triangle (West 8th, 2201, or 7th @ Westlake).

Good advice for office buildings in general.

One high-rise building already has a tenant: The 12(?)-story office building for King County at 5th & Jefferson where the parking garage will soon be torn down.

$100M retirement community to be built on First Hill

Skyline at First Hill is the name of Presbyterian Retirement Communities Northwest's new full-block project, officials of the Seattle not-for-profit said Monday. They added the 27-story project will cost $100 million.

Right on! Nice to see it add depth to the skyline.
You got the crane for that hotel down the street in your last shot.

Were you up in one of those condo buildings in Belltown?
