Are you sure about the Mont Blanc, after checking out the pics in the original size, to me it's a clound , too bad I didn't zoom in!

I'm pretty sure he's right, this has to be Mont Blanc... Here is one pic I've taken in Lyon one day we could see it in the distance, and the shape looks similar. The Mont Blanc always look like a cloud, unless it's very very clear! This was the only time I could see it that clear, most of the time whether I don't see it or it's barely visible in the fog/smog, making it look like a cloud.

^ I'm not, just studying here for a while. Thank you for your pictures by the way! Judging by your pics, St-Étienne kinda looks like a smaller Lyon, the architecture looks the same.

^yes much more smaller but Lyon is nicer, did you already visit the area? there's a lot of things to see around here, beautiful nature and regional parks, here's a link to a thread I opened and that I will continue in the next few days, as you may know, there was a lot of rain at the begining of the month, I was not here, visiting Boston with a nice blue sky , but one of my relatives took pictures of the Grangent Dam with its 4 gates opened, it's really impressive so I'll post them soon, here's the link: http://forum.skyscraperpage.com/show...51#post3846351

I've visited the Beaujolais, but that's the only place nearby I've checked out so far. You can check my pictures here if you're interested A beautiful region indeed.

Great pics guys, both of St. Etienne and Lyon. I had no idea you could see the Mont Blanc from those cities. Stunning really!

Sorry, I haven't been here for a while.

First, the Mont Blanc looks like a cloud, then you realize it's a rock.
