I find myself not liking the CPT glass as much. Maybe its just Verre and Stienway overpower it due to their beauty. Hopefully I'll grow to like it, but right now, its iffy.

None of the CPT glass has been revealed yet. It's currently covered.

There is a protective blue film over the glass and decorative metal fins. When revealed it should look a lot more silver.

While we're appreciating 111w from that shot, can we take a minute to stare, agape, at that god awful Hilton?

That Hilton is absurd. That enormous site is worth billions. Since it's a hotel, it can be razed at will.

I've always thought that Hilton was a dumb waste of space.

This will do for terracotta what 15 Central Park West did for limestone.

What’s wrong with the Hilton?

With all due respect...........in all sincerity.........

You mean the venerable RCA Building, Great Depression-era über-magnum opus centerpiece of Rockefeller Center, without which we wouldn't have:

A. A Christmas Tree to ice-skate around

B. Radio City and its attendant Music Hall

C & D. The Statues of Atlas and Promethius

and especially

E. The Top of the Rock...without which any true closeup appreciation our vertically ascending skyline is non-existant??????

That Comcast Building?

I mean, the present logo doesn't quite flatter the tower in exactly the same way as did the old red faux-futuristic letters of yesteryear; but surely you jest.
