I know, I could do a crazy conglomeration of disproportionate squares and rectangles like the Grand Hyatt!!!

haha j/k...but yeah like i said before i left those sides blank cause i couldn't get the window textures to align right, so i pretended that it was blank because the offices faced out into an atrium lol

i've read yall's suggestions...and maybe soon when i get some spare time, version 2.0 will come your way

The two sides with windows and balconies are condos, the two sides w/o any windows are offices that look out into a 800' atrium.

Come to think of it, if you made the flat sides the offices then you could make the sloped sides the condos and have a really cool sloped stacked balcony thing going on.

And since this is my "new tallest" for the city, here's a pic with the tallest buildings of the other 5 largest cities in Texas....

The main reason why I did this design is because I love Adidas. It's my favorite shoe. And if they ever decide to build a new HQ, here's my design. And like I mentioned before, this includes the logo and the three stripes style you would see in all of the company's gear, but it's black and white with silver trim for the Spurs. Since Adidas makes uniforms for the NBA and since you have the Spurs, I thought it would just fit. This building would be located in that big lot on that Martin, Jefferson, Pecan, 3rd and Broadway block.... on the Jefferson side, mainly.
OMG!!! I want this building in San Antonios downtown ...... but they're just ideas :/

Here's something I whipped up a few years ago...use your imagination to put windows and I'm too lazy to get a bigger image...also, I think it's over 1200 feet tall so it's unfeasable unless you want to make the Tower of the Americas look ridiculous...

Great looking building! very San Antonio, cathedral-like. I've always felt like the only way that this city would ever get a building with some greater height is if we built it oursleves, with taxpayer money. A municipal building or monument, something along those lines; something the people could get behind, and maybe even attract more visitors. It worked for the Alamodome.

Nice. Looks like you could probably get a decent going rate for these; they look safe with the patrol car going by. Has San Pedro Creek turned into a linear park? I ask since the apartments at Martin/Santa Rosa have been replaced with a high-rise. It also looks like we might've had a couple new office buildings sprout up around Travis Park???

As someone who works around that area, I can definitely see the Giraud complex working there. I appreciate how you made it look like many different architectural styles built densely together. The only thing I'd change is trees lining Augusta and Soledad streets. Thanks for sharing.

I like the doubling up of the garage, but personally, I think it might be at least 50 ft. too tall (for its surroundings). Perhaps it might be because I've gotten used to parking lots. I do, however, like SP Creek as a linear park. Maybe the base could be pushed up to Houston St.; give us a street entrance and not an awkward post-urbanist design/feel like the Main Library.
Eh, what the hell, I like it. Now just give us something to replace Soap Works.

Thanks Miaht. You know I thought about that, but I love those oak trees along Houston Street, wanted to keep them. Plus Houston Street
is so narrow, I just imagine congestion on that street, similar to what I see at the Nix everyday. So I'm putting the street entrance on the Travis side where I added some metered parking. I also thought I'd make the garage a little larger for public parking, to help accomodate the Alameda Theater events or whatever else might go on in the area.

Wow! That tower would look so cool in our skyline. Looks to be about 50 stories or so. Nice work.

Frostbank tower.

That tower would be a great addition to SA skyline. I have one suggestion though. Or maybe a little favor to ask.
Could you do something with the Crown of the building.. Do something like Glass and metal. Kind of like the Austin one..At least just to see what it looks like. Please... please... please....
thank you.

Wow, so many ways to do this. I'm no architect, but I gave it a try. Tried 2 relatively simple combinations, hope you like. Thanks.

No prob Mercury, and thanks for the compliment. Here's another for you guys. I drew this one up about 5 years ago. Thanks to Sketchup I get to "3d" my drawing. Tell me what you think, a mock hdrc if you will... Miaht could use your input, you've made some good points previously.
