I wonder when they will demolish the structure to the right, it seems that they're dragging their feet with that one.

Any updates on the rendering? I had seen one about 2 years ago, but that's probably changed. Very skinny tower.

I can't believe how skinny this building is. It looks like it's maybe only 40 to 50 feet wide! About the length of a city bus!

I found the old renderings, hopefully some new ones will be released with color, and more views like a river view or something.

here we go! ! ! ...nice find JaGa...pretty nice..but the way this building looks especially on the left or what would be the southside face, this should be where it can be marveled by the eye coming down 281 or up 37...either way nice to see something on paper even if its not the final concept.

Yes, those are the old/original renderings.

I don't think this will be a record holder in terms of skinniness. There are some insanely skinny buildings in places like Chicago, New York and Toronto.

A few examples:

Toronto - 1 King West - 578 feet tall - 51 floors. The tower is 15 meters wide, that comes to 49.21 feet.
http://www.emporis.com/en/wm/bu/?id=...toronto-canada

Hong Kong - The Summit - 721 feet - 65 floors. I'm not sure of the width, but it is a skinny skyscraper!
http://www.emporis.com/en/wm/bu/?id=...hongkong-china

A few more here. Check out the first one in this thread. You might have to look at the photo for a second or two to see what they're talking about. But that little building is only 5.91 feet wide at its base.

I'm waiting for someone to develop on that sliver of a tract between this Marriott and the Holiday Inn. How about 40 stories of shotgun condos?

People can tell their friends "No it's true ,I got the whole floor..."

There are buildings in NYC that skinny that are 50 stories. I like this design though. It has old school character... not just glass and concrete (like the Holiday Inn next to it). That drawing seems to indicate a restaurant or bar on the river.

That time is NOW my fast ferrari friend... and also for SAguy, since you did personally ask!

It's only 3, but you can see what floor they are on, now at least!
