WCFC is being completed in two phases, basically from West to East. I believe the first 2 or 3 buildings are to be completed end of 2013 with the final building finishing early 2014.
I have posted that b4 as well. can someone edit it into the 1st post of this thread please? MODs?
As per the original plan, yes 3 phases. But when it came back to market and sold out so quickly they apparently changed to basically one phase with the final building a little behind. Or so they told me.

i take my dogs down to the village most days and always amazed at how much is going on. Ospal hasn't started and there's Mechanica and onni's as well. busy times for main street from broadway to first.
Also... looks like the SW corner of the Urban Fare building has been leased for a Subway. There goes the neighbourhood.
ditto that! Well I guess that would be a strategic location to be fronting a bike route, namely West 1st Ave, as cyclists tend to go for healthier alternatives.
I find the back of James far more interesting than the Cambie side of Maynards.
Maynards has a bit of playfulness with the variation in the bay windows, but it's incredibly "ordinary" - especially for a facade that will be viewed by thousands of people crossing the bridge every day. Maybe the landscaping on the roof decks will help.
BTW - will Wall Centre False Creek have street front retail or just the theatre entrance and townhouses?
