Please don't call it BumPershoot mhays. Fergie started calling it that and everybody (around me) started laughing at her... But that's off topic. Oh 8th and Seneca is right next to my friends apartment. Isn't near the convention center? I think it is. I noticed a lot of projects are going up around the Denny Triangle and the vicinity.

That picture appears to be very outdated. Look for a July 26 DJC article by the architect in which they include a much nicer rendering.

Would it be possible to get that updated rendering posted under Proposed/Approved section?

I hope they keep the colors because they give a new twist on buildings in Seattle.Although gold would be nice looking but beige is one of the ugliest colors if you don't match it well. Oh, the building looks nice in that part of town specially because of it's design. Will it be taller than the apartment tower on the block crossing the street Southward?

Nice!

It won't be long until we can count the 5th and Madison as "completed."

Yes, looks like walls are going to start going up on the 4 Seasons! I can't wait until glass goes up, it's gonna look so nice, specially because of the color the glass is.

Oh, God, I think the same thing that's happening with O8 is gonna happen with 1521. They're gonna slow down a bit and make us wait until they finish the base. Why is it that the 4 Seasons didn't slow down as much on the base like O8 and 1521? Isn't the 4 Seasons supposed to be a better hotel than the one in O8?

I'll try to get newer pictures either this or next weekend. School totally blows, too much homework. Oh, does anybody know what important thing happened in the year 1521?

Better contractor at Four Seasons. ...Just kidding. Hell if I know.

I didn't realize, but one reason for some of the delays is that streets in the Retail District can't close during the Holidays, meaning you can't do any major concrete pours.

In other news, Second & Pine says they'll re-start at the beginning of 2008 with more "city suites" and fewer regular condos.

Actually, 1521 is rising at a good pace right now. I walk by every day.

Posted this somewhere else but Just thought this might be a better spot.

Just saw a small story in DJC about Hotel 1 that says Sixty-six condo-hotel units will be added to 1 Hotel & Residences, but work won't resume on the 23-story “ultra-luxury” project at Second Avenue and Pine Street until the beginning of 2008, the developers said.

I heard they have gotten a lot of interest in the units that can be rented out as hotel units if you are not occupying the condo. Great way of bringing extra income or soften the payment you may be paying.

Sounds like a profitable thing they've got going on for Hotel 1. Has anybody seen the new AVA rendering? It's not beige anymore, Mostly blueish-ish, and the hotel floors seems to have lowered. I'll post a picture later on today.

Oh, 8th and Seneca looks bigger on the second rendering but it also seems square-er.

The blue accents are helping Parc somewhat.

I'm really going to like Olivian. Curvy.
