HNIC is on on Sunday morning China time, so I always watch games in the morning. It's evening hockey that would feel strange to me now.

Having two uneven conferences (16 and 14 teams) is completely unacceptable.

The Habs just traded Eric Cole for Michael Ryder and a 3rd round draft pick.

Habs getting ragged on by Oilers and Leafs fans. The two laughing stocks of the entire league.

Good trade. Especially considering Cole has already retired.

Vancouver's 9000km road trip is finally over. Tonites game is at home.
And tonite marks Henrik Sedins 600th straight regular season not including playoffs or team Sweden games. What a wuss! *rolls eyes*

Josh Gorges didn't have much to laugh about last time he faced the Leafs. Frazer McLaren on the other hand...

And are you blind Nicko? He clearly leaves his feet. Its amazing how you were able to use X-ray vision when it came to the Grabovski "bite", but whenever theres clear video evidence showing you to be wrong (like this and the Orr "knee" on Plekanec) you turn into Mr. Magoo

You should learn the rules...instead of looking like a fool... it is illegal to leave your feet before contact. You actually took a screenshot blurred his skates and added 2 little lines to prove your point? HAHAHAHAHA

Not even close to leaving his feet... nice try...

Even after the contact, skates are still on the ice.

Why? It's been fine in baseball. (The NL had 16 teams and the AL 14 from 1997-2013)

And it shouldn't be an issue after expansion occurs in a few seasons.

And Ryder instantly becomes our second best scorer.

Good thing we were able to unload Cole's contract for a UFA after this season. We also get a third round pick which is a bonus.

I love Bergevin's trades. Such an upgrade from what we were used with Gainey/Gauthier.

I usually watch at least parts of the second game.

I usually watch the first period and Coach's Corner of the early game. Sometimes the whole game if it's a good one.

I would watch more early games if they showed less Toronto and more Montreal.

Congrats, you won a fight!

You're still the team that hasn't made the playoffs in almost 10 years though. Im sure meat-head McLaren finds that one real funny too!

Huh? I didn't blur anything. The initial shot is too blurry to make out if he's left his feet or not, but it seems like he does -hence the two lines. In the next frame its clear he has left his feet. If you understand the concept of momentum (I know you don't, this is your cue to go read up on it), you'd realize that he left his feet. And just by looking at the shots, you can see that hes clearly still following through with the hit. Heck, even in the last shot you posted (before the point of contact - how could it be after the point of contact when McDonagh hasn't even responded to the hit? He's even further from the boards in the second shot) it looks like hes leaving his feet.

Er, won a bit more than just the fight. Or maybe the pounding left you guys with some brain damage?

Darko conveniently forgets the 6-0 curbstomping done to their shit team by the Leafs last time.

Lets see if Max "Wah Wah" Pacioretty can keep his arms to himself this time or cry about another "injury".

Generally don't watch either unless the Oilers happen to be playing. The first game is on too early and my beer league team usually plays Saturday night so I'm not often home to watch the second.
