I noticed that the building will be visible for quite a distance to pedestrians walking southbound on the west side of Bank St. It will really change the streetscape.

It will also dramatically change the skyline for passers-through on the 417. It's not a big building but it will seem big in that corridor and hopefully it will spur more development along the 417 after it is completed in 2117.

In think it's 23 storeys. Everywhere you look, including the Soba website, it says 23.

Agreed. This weekend I was driving east on the 417 towards Soba. You really see how it's going to change the area. With taller buildings bookending Centretown it's really going to make the area look more like a downtown.

Thank you for sharing the photos. I've been thoroughly enjoying watching this building going up everyday on my way to work. As mentioned, it's definitely not the tallest of buildings, but it is going to make a huge change to the skyline along the Queensway.

It's gonna look tall (appropriately so) for the area. I would love to see 2-3 more of these along the Catherine/Isabella corridor. Anyone know what they are planning to clad the side of the podium with? It's pretty prominent up there.....

Isn't it supposed to be 23 floors? There should be more than five to go.

I’ve been walking by this thing all day... very active construction (yes it’s Saturday) on the 16th floor... web site is very clear about 23 floors.... let’s hope there are 7 more to go 🙂

The podium looks huge from the Queensway! Not sure I like it, but will wait until its completed to pass judgement.

Coming down the 417 westbound, this tower dominates the view -- very interesting development! Hope the final product looks good!

I would bet it will. Gotham had its problems but the final product from the outside at least looked good.

Beginning to be visible a bit further north and south on Bank street. It will add some more height and density to the skyline approaching from the south.
