SteakOut food truck is up and running- parked in the MEC lot, which looks to be its permanent home according to the owner.

I've been looking forward to trying Steakout. Sorry to hear that it's not a mobile food truck

I went to Smashburger today for a late lunch and I agree with the other forumers. really good! Burger is really tasty with quality toppings, smashfries seasoned with rosemary and garlic are yum and they have flavoured sweet and unsweet tea! (southern speak for brewed iced tea)

Yeah, Smashburger is good. Tip: Sit under the giant M; there's a hidden storage container under the booth, and if they need anything from it, they'll give you a $5 coupon for the trouble of sliding over a foot.

I'm trying to find a location in Phoenix so I can use my coupon on the local burger down here.

Was driving down 9th in Inglewood yesterday and it looked like WOP is closed... Was this just recently, or have I been out of the loop?

I was at Sugo for dinner the other night and WOP was open. Their website is still up and they tweeted as recently as last night.

I liked Olives. It was the place to be before hockey games (not that I get to many games).

Does anyone have info on the new restaurant opening in Mission "Anejo On Fourth"? Is it going in the vacant space beside OJ's?

Alley Burger

All I can say is be careful when ordering the double! It was seriously about 6-7 inches high; though, I was able to squash it down a bit and devour it. The cheese on it was amazing and the beef was perfect. The egg was a great touch as well and was done perfectly with a buttery taste.

Best burger in a while.

Double patty
Cheese
Egg
Pickle
Bacon
lettuce
Tomato.

Very good.

As I said, I was driving by, so I might have glanced at the wrong space...

Let's please stop posting about restaurants closing unless you actually know they've closed. Try calling them, don't just drive by, make the assumption and then post it publically.

I prefer publicly (but now I know an alternate spelling!) and I agree.

You can see yours truly stuffing his pie hole with a carrot cake doughnut on the upcoming ep of You Gotta Eat Here covering Jelly. I write this as a warning, not an advertisement.

Let us know when! Wooster was on Eat St tonight. Does Charcut do burgers in the back alley anymore or just from the Alley Burger truck?

Looks like May 25 from Witty's post.

Alley-based Alley Burgers are no more, just the truck, but it's out almost every day it seems!
