I was in Eastern and Central Europe for work over the past month. I was in Budapest, Vienna, Prague, Berlin, Dresden, and Rome. Budapest is very beautiful, decadent, and much more hilly or mountainous that I originally thought. If you have never been then I highly suggest going. It is still pretty cheap compared it its neighbors of Prague and especially Vienna. I hope you enjoy.
Thanks guys I had a great time even though I had to work. I was quite shocked on how large the city center is. I thought it was going to be a couple of streets then nothing but commie blocks. I do have to say the Magyar language was quite difficult for me though.
I also had a Hungarian neighbor in Brooklyn and always wondered what Budapest looked like. Thanks for giving me some insight. Looks much nicer than Tbilisi where I currently live.

Exudes a vaguely sinister air... Can't imagine why but I'm certainly not complaining. I love it!

According to legend the architect who designed this bridge declared it perfect and dared anyone to point out a flaw. A child told the man that the statues of the lions had no tongue. Supposedly the architect jumped off the bridge into the cold Danube to his death because he lost his honor.
