I find it shocking that it's about half way complete and it's been all parking garage up until this point. I'll be glad for the day when we don't have to make half of these towers parking.

Here's a smaller version that might be easier for some to see...

It's amazing how much our skyline has grown. Even the cranes for this project don't have a significant presence on the skyline yet.

That's what stood out to me when I was walking down Congress for the tree-lighting event this past weekend; just how visible this one is from Congress. It will dominate the view from there.

It's gonna take people 15-20 minutes to drive to and from that top garage floor. They'll have to drive what looks like close to 1/2 mile slowly and wait for other cars along the way. There comes a point of diminishing returns in such garages. After a few floors I prefer the circular entrance and exit ramps so you don't have to drive the whole distance. It prevents traffic for other people too.

Happy to see the building reach the people floors. It will really start to take shape pretty soon.

I'm getting dizzy just thinking about that.

I hope they built the parking podium in such a way that it allows for conversion in the distant future as usable office space, but it doesnt look like it to me. Slanted floors.

I will be working in this building when it is complete. The drive up the parking garage might be longer than my actual commute itself.

I'm pretty sure the floors are concrete, so no, not all glass.

This one in fact could be converted to office and was designed so intentionally.

Very nice! Hopefully all buildings from here on out will be designed in the same way.

How is that possible with the slanted floors?

Ventilation shafts and such. Lots of garages are clad in glass - Google Tower for example (the already-built one).
