This tower is going to have a larger presence than i originally imagined. And with the apartments soon to go up now too with the new restaurants, that whole area is going to have a great new vibe to it. I can see the boardwalk turning into another E4th. And I cant wait to see the glass installed in the cutaway piece!

Here's an updated pic from the FEB webcam.

There's another couple floors of steel being installed up top and another row of glass along the bottom. It's looking better each day.

From the FEB webcam, the tree and flag are up on the top of the building. So it appears that the building has topped out!!

There is also a story about the topping out online from News Channel 5.

I was down at Jacobs (Nautica) Pavilion for the 311 concert this past Sunday. Here's a couple of pics of the E&Y building from the show.

A nice outdoor venue, with decent views of the city. Just a little bit different angle of the building from down there.

While the design is nothing memorable, it's great to see this going up in the Flats. I really think it's a sign of good things to come on the waterfront areas.

This looks just like half the buildings going up in Boston's seaport district. I guess it's better than nothing.

Flats East Bank project draws chef Chris DiLisi for new eatery

http://www.cleveland.com/dining/inde..._river_default

Chef Chris DiLisi is attached to the new $500 million Flats East Bank development project under way in Cleveland.

He and his wife, Krista DiLisi, formerly of Flour restaurant in Moreland Hills, will open Willeyville -- a 3,000-square-foot, roughly 100-seat restaurant with both indoor and outdoor dining -- at Front and West 10th streets.
