Don't get your panties in a wad. Of course they're not going to leave an unprotected/unpainted raw steel structure up there. I guess my being facetious didn't come across. I should've added a smiley.

Thank you. What is more disgraceful, bringing back the memories of the atrocities that took thousands of lives, or burying them deep in the archives? There is a plaque at Auschwitz Birkenau that reads "Forever let this place be a cry of despair and a warning to humanity,..."
The day we hide what really happened to all the people that lost their lives at the World Trade Center, Pentagon, and on Flight 93 will be a very sad day indeed. The day that we can watch footage of the attacks and not feel a torrent of emotions will be equally negative.

They could have added lights that would only be turned on as tributes once a year to symbolize that the people who died and the buildings that stood on those grounds would always be remembered and will continue to stand against terrorism and other evils in this world for a long time. Basically, another direct middle finger to those who hate the Western world's way of life aside from 1 WTC.

I think they should put those lights, in the memorial pools and turn them on every anniversary, seeing as how the pools are completed now.

I've decided to model all of the office floors. I've only finished the exterior steel, excluding splices. I'll try to get the floors and maybe the cladding done later tonight.

With all the stuff happening on that site now, it would be unlikely that they would consider that anytime soon. And with how cheap the PA is, it's even less likely.

This building looks so sweet, especially with the reflections of the different facets of the facade- its a damn shame that it isn't taller (as in the roof height)

^It's amazing the way it is,it doesn't need to be taller to make a statement.Trust me,once the site is complete, the site will leave you in awe and amazement.

No, I mean beam-projecting lights like the ones that are installed on the roof of the garage/building whatever just south of there. That way, every September 11th, they could have the beams projecting from the actual location of the towers.

No electric wires under water?
Don't tell the millions of passengers who ride the subways that there is no electric under water!

Never mind the tunnels the have lights that allow commuters under the sea.

FYI: Weather Channel show on iron workers at 4 WTC and the Barclay Center in Brooklyn on now. Glad I stayed in tonight

They showed one iron worker visit the Memorial were he lost his sister in law. He said "A lot of people went to heaven that day from this address. We got a lot of guardian angels looking over us while we work." < Pretty beautiful comment right!?
