I'd love to buy one, but I can't imagine that those will be ready by Fall 2013... we'll see I guess.

I wish. I'd love that! I doubt they'll be affordable for me, however. ;-) I need to stay south of $250,000 - preferably below $225,000.

Exciting to see the two projects together (Mix and Marconi).
It doesn't seem that the page for the Mirador development is finished yet: http://condosmirador.com. I'd like to see new pictures of the parking garage etc.

I was downtown yesterday and noticed a sign promoting the Mix building on the side of the old NL Telephone building. Hopefully these units will sell fairly quickly.

*** Edit: Sorry Jeddy, I just noticed you already posted this -

You could be in luck, according to jeddy1989's post these condos start at $214,000... not too shabby!

I recognize that the building MIX is renovating is oddly shaped, and there is definitely limited space, but does anyone else feel that many of the floor plans are a bit awkward? I'm not sure, but I find that as I look through them as a potential buyer, very few excite me. With the exception of the larger units (01 and 02) I find qualms with almost all of the floor plans.

The Marconi preliminary floor plans look much more normal. Substantially better, from what I had a chance to check out today. Hopefully they'll be on the website soon.

Argh. I want one of these so bad. I hope I'm ready to buy when they're ready to be bought...

Maybe we'll be neighbors. I'm very interested myself, although if the building really is ready in Fall 2013 I probably won't be ready, especially considering that I'm looking at signing a 1-year lease for an apartment in town that should be opening its doors in the Spring.

This is part of the view these buildings will have. It's a particularly nice stretch of Duckworth Street:

Ooh, what's this? A lane on the other side? I bet it has a beautiful view!

Nevermind...

It's great to finally see some progress on this site as well. I know the developers have ran into issues dealing with the geology of the land, henceforth the delay. It seems like the issues have been dealt with and I'm expecting to see faster progress from here on in.
