Last week I was in Vancouver and I found a nice place to view the downtown skyline, just west of Commercial Dr.

Great show Dylan. I'm hurting my brain trying to estimate where you took that from. I'm going to guess that it was on the grounds of Brittania school. Am I right?

I just checked in Google Maps' new 3D view and here's what I came up with. It's pretty crude and cropped from a much larger image but it matches up with your shot almost exactly and I took it from the southwest corner of the Brittania School running track.

(someone knows their neighbourhood!)

Yes, it was from the field of a school, so that could be the one. It's a really good angle of the skyline we don't see around here very often.

Not really photos, but some cool 3D mockups of Vancouver I stumbled across, they are quite good.

Just a few pics of many I took yesterday during my 10K seawall walk around Stanley Park. It was an amazing day weather-wise!

Crazy-ass sun shower rolled in this evening. This was taken from my balcony and when I took this I knew that the Canucks scored their first goal from the cheering I could hear outside, hehe

Nice! I totally missed out on seeing that rainbow.

I think it's a promotion for Honda as a Civic seems to be the prize in the cereal box:
