I want one of those letter jackets! but mine should read "Construction Project Curator"... 'cause I just gather the good stuff to share (my camera's been dusty for years).

Those talented drone flyers have really changed the game.

I wonder what possessed him to have the jacket made? Are Victorians suspicious of an octogenarian camera wielding terrorist? Some retired office drone living out his dream hobby?

Curators are like historians as long as they are also archivists - very important people

And the drone shots are an amazing addition to city photography - although I haven’t yet given it a shot due to the many apparent restrictions.

Whippersnapper - I see this guy around town quite often, he’s a bit of a character. So I think it’s 50/50 that had the jacket custom made, or because he’s always hanging around this construction site taking pictures that the site construction manager got it for him as a gift. Next time I see him I’ll ask him instead of taking his pic, lol.

Despite this being incredibly dangerous, this is still one of the coolest videos I've seen.

Something a foul about that video. It's next to impossible to sneak onto the roofs of the bank towers. There's always security and maglocks.

Staged or faked.

Bathurst Quay Revitalization | City of Toronto | Kearns Mancini l u/c

Beautiful restoration of the silos including the reanimation of the Canada Malting typeface.

The Canada Ireland Foundation has secured $5million in new funding towards an Irish cultural centre called the Corleck Centre, located just west of the silos. They also just received another $2million donation from the Government of Ireland to support the project.

Cool to see the Academic Wood Tower go up. An architect friend of ours was involved in the initial designs and while I don't claim to understand the specifics there's some neat engineering work involved to tie into the existing structure.

Was at Rorschach brewing the other week and had no idea Queen and Ashbridge was a thing - looked pretty good in person.

The area around King and Caroline in Downtown Hamilton has really changed a lot, especially since I've been in the area, with two towers (14s and 30s) now rising on the east side of the intersection.
