Woah, they look very similar! Not a bad thing though, the shape is too damn sexy.

I hadn't thought of the Nina Tower connection, but that is a good call.

Central Park South by Tony Of New York

Seems really tall already, just still sort of hidden.

I still like it, but I don't love it anymore if it's not going to be like that.

I feel that this is one of those towers that will look better than shown in the renderings (not that they are bad).

It's interesting though, if not for the WTC, this would be the tallest currently under construction in the country, and the tallest to roof in NY since the original WTC was built.

Thanks for posting that BDV! Great news, hope it lives up to what we've seen in the renders.

The slip forms in the center of the tower are obviously lower than the outer slip forms because of the curved setback above them. But I wonder if they'll be reconfigured and reused in the flat portion above the setback or if they're waiting to be disassembled and removed. If the latter, I wonder why they've waited so long.

The building just to the left of C57 is 90 meters tall so this thing is roughly 120 meters.

I'm a bit confused. Otie's diagram obviously shows the exterior frame up to the first major setback. Yet the photo immediately preceding it seems different.
Is it me or are the two images not exactly coinciding with each other? Maybe it's a matter of vantage point(?)
