This is a great and unique capture of a part of our city I have never seen before. Very cool to have cropped out downtown.

After about 200 dull white/grey spandrel messes in this city, I really miss the green seafoam...

No doubt. They are trying to charge $400 per year for what plenty of alternatives do for free. I only use imgur now.

Does anyone think Spring 2018 completion is a reasonable estimation?

I would think so. Spring would give them anytime until the end of June and I suspect it would be occupied before then.

I hear the completion date has just been pushed back again to Summer 2018.
Construction crews have been working on weekends to finish for Spring but it doesn’t seem enough so Westbank must have decided to push it back.
Apparently, the main reason for the year and half delay is due to the fact that they run into an underground river that runs along Kingsway when digging the parking. The Eldorado had suffered the same problem apparently.
East and West towers look almost complete with South tower needing most of the work.
I also heard that the retail space will be occupied by T&T , Starbucks, Neptune restaurant, liquor store/etc.
This is a nice development and it’s now progressing well. It’s really going to help rejuvenate the neighbourhood from commercial and family standpoints
I would be interested in knowing more about how they handled the subterranean river issue and potential concerns this might raise in the future.

It's in the Norquay Neighbourhood Plan area, so there are other projects planned, but not sure if any have started construction.

T&T Press Release:

T&T Supermarkets is pleased to announce plans to open two new stores in the Greater Vancouver Area by the end of 2018. The stores will be located in the Lansdowne Centre at 8311 Lansdowne Road and at 2220 Kingsway Street in Kensington Gardens. Since T&T Supermarket will be celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2018, the big leap of opening these new stores also marks another great milestone.

With a focus on Asian cuisine, T&T Supermarkets offer a wide variety of fresh produce, meat, seafood, grocery items, and ready to consume Asian meals. Always looking for new and unique items, T&T Supermarkets is known to be at the forefront of Asian food innovation.

“We are thrilled to be opening two new stores in Vancouver next year,” says, Tina Lee, CEO of T&T Supermarkets.” Both these stores have special meaning for me. Richmond is a bustling centre for the Chinese community in the Lower Mainland, so opening a store in the Lansdowne Centre, just made sense for us. Having grown up on the eastside of Vancouver, opening a store in the new Kensington Gardens development is a dream come true for me.”

Launched in 1993 in Vancouver, today T&T Supermarkets operates 23 stores in British Columbia, Alberta and Ontario

... So does it look like the completion date will get pushed back yet further judging from the current progress? (sorry I haven't seen any recent pics and I don't live close to the area !!)

One of the penthouses is available for rent. Only $7,500/month for a shitty 1,139 sqft 3BR shoebox. There cannot be stupid enough people to pay that much for a tiny "penthouse" in basically the suburbia.
