Rumor has it that the outside area on the 20th floor near the exercise room on the east side is covered with real turf....with its own automated watering system.

I would like to see an arial shot of this feature.

This is still one of my favourite projects ever built in Ottawa, and it is very aptly named.

Great photo, thanks for posting!

(Yes, it's in Gatineau.)

I had no idea Claridge Tribeca would be so prominent in the background... and damn Place Bell is an ugly, hulking behemoth!

My friend rents a condo on the 24th floor of Tribeca, facing Parliament. It is a beautiful spot to watch the Canada day fireworks.

Big, yes but ugly? By Centretown standards? Not to my eye.

One city? Most people don't see things that way.

One metro? Sure.

Not as far as taxes, bus pass, driver's license, vehicle registration, nurse registration, language laws, schools you're allowed to attend, etc..
I have friends in Gatineau not allowed by law to attend an English school (in so-called bilingual Canada!?).
More like two countries.

In Ontario, you can go to French immersion classes but not everyone is allowed to attend a French school. C'est la meme chose.

It's too much like the first tower. Takes away from its unique design.

Wow. At least spin it, change the height, vary something.... they're almost exactly the same!

Hmm too bad. Viu 1 is my favourite condo in the NRC. Viu 2 should not be a near clone. Imagine a taller and thinner companion tower in the same design language...that would be cool.
