Thanks for posting this one, I always forget about it. This project has been ongoing for 10 years.

This development always struck me as odd. I know it's affordable city-built housing, but I would think they would place this kind of thing somewhere a bit more logical. It's a bit too far from the LRT, a bit to far from everything residents need like groceries/stores etc. Despite it being central, it's bizarrely isolated and in a pseudo-industrial park.

It would be interesting to dig into why this location was chosen. I would think a similar lot nearer to Chinook station (or 39th or Heritage or Southland etc.) Would be preferable.

I thought the same thing, but when I go by these buildings I realize that a lot of the residence have some kind of disability. It seems like this area has a lot of medicare and professional facilities especially in the professional centre within Chinook Mall. Still it is an odd location but it kind of make sense as well, and the land was probably cheap, back in the day when it was purchased back in the Bronco era.

They have started the main floor columns. The Caisson drill onsite is new. I think they are going to start on the second portion of the parkade.
