Hate to get OT, but I think it's interesting you mentioned that, considering I thought about this the other day. There's a tallish 1920's brick apartment building at Division and LaSalle (the one with the big mural). I always thought it would have been cool had all of LaSalle been lined with those buildings, creating a nice brick canyon.

Is it really looming all the way over to Clark? Isn't there a hospital building and a fair amount of mid rise's between 2520 and Clark Street?
Keep updating !!very nice projects Chicago need more Classical style buildings
I do like this building but only in the Lincoln Park neighborhood. I dont believe something like this would work as well in the downtown area but I think it works well with the classic "Old Money" look of feel of Lincoln Park!
In a nutshell...I like the change up from the modern glass buildings but I wouldnt want to see 5 or 6 of these pop up right now!

Yes it does. There are segments (like by the Children's Hospital Extension or whatever it is) where you can't see it, but for most of the distance from Diversey to Fullerton this building is making its presence known. Walk South along Clark from Diversey and you'll see what I mean.
