Great Skyline shots there.

Here are a few pics I took of the growing Metrotown Skyline.

Kingsway now has the first hints of a canyon.

Thanks Metro-One.

Love these shots of Kingsway at Metrotown! It's starting to have the big city feel.

Thanks! Yeah, the transformation in Metrotown since I have moved to Japan (5 years ago) is astounding.

Some pics of New Westminster.

I love the density and layers it has for a suburb.

New Westminster Station feels as if it is straight out of Asia.

Great shots of New West! It's hard to believe that overpass is now hemmed in by development. Really makes me wish they put more effort into concealing those above grade parkades.

Nice pics of Richmond, my hometown. I was at the Pizza Hut right beside RPM tonight weirdly enough, it's one of their old school "hut" building restaurants and nestled between highrises on 2 sides and on both sides of the street

Good sized street trees in Richmond
- probably only planted in the 1990s too based on the age of the adjacent buildings.

Nice weather over this past Thanksgiving weekend provided a good chance to be out and about. We chose driving all the way to Maple Ridge to enjoy some trails along the nice little Kanaka Creek.

There is a bunch of lush trails around the area where the creek merges with Fraser River.

Further upstream there are even more trails around Cliff Falls which are not so impressive to see.

Weather has been fairly dry up until now, so Kanaka Creek water level was low.

From Maple Ridge we drove to our favorite Krause Berry Farms over in Langley to see some big pumpkins and also enjoy warm apple waffles.

It seems like Vancouver is maxing out with towers in their DT core and around the city. Now the tower boom seems to be switching to Burnaby (Edmonds/Metro/Lougheed/Brentwood). I wonder what it will look like 10 years from now

Yep, ignoring Broadway and the rest of Vancouver except Oakridge and Marpole.

Austin Heights area in Coquitlam

Behind the new Safeway - Ridgeway Ave, there are plans to renew this street, the Safeway has 3 CRU's, the new towers will also add retail to the street

east side of the safeway is where the first tower will go, I heard the plan is to construct the East tower first and then do the west tower.
The pink building to the left is I think an apartment of sorts.
