This, Verre, 225, and The Drake! 4 solid 1,000 footers heading to Midtown!

Who said NYC was lacking in the supertall department?!

I can't wait to see glass start going up in this building... It is going to be interesting to see where they are going to start cladding. are they going to start on 58th street side or somewhere above the lobby on the 57th street side

Oh man, just awesome updates. As easy as it is to get carried away with what's coming, and will soon be visible from that same vantage point, that is already a pretty impressive collection of buildings.

jwalas is that from your window?

As awesome as that view is, this tower will make a dramatic impact...

LOL, what is the cost of this project? They're going to pay it all off just by selling the upper penthouse!

Um, contrary to that article, there have never been any penthouses at 15 CPW being offered for $98.5M.

15 CPW is so yesterday. One57 is the new it building!

Developers will inflate the floor count for publicity; it’s of course not actually 90 floors.

That's been going on for a long time. This tower is taller than would be normal for a 75-story apartment building. Developers like to promote their towers for "comparible" heights. The Trump World Tower (with its higher ceilings) was also promoted as a 90-story building, but is actually less than 900 ft. It's more understandable here.
