it's still hard to believe this is happening at last, but there it is.

any extra space moma can get is very needed too. we visited recently on the weekend and the place is mobbed to the point that honestly it's not worth going then.

MOMA, currently, is a disaster. Too many people. They desperately need more space.

This expansion will help, but I doubt it will resolve the situation. That museum is just incredibly popular.

Few more from today...(MARCH 21, 2016)

These ladies don't know that MOMA's latest and greatest work of art is rising behind them...

Trying to get a feel for the tower as it rises...

Chris, you are referring to our shared unit, right? We'll start a bar, and name it "Puzzles"

Phenomenal shots as usual, ILNY. Love that we didn't have to wait long to see this tower's structural expressionism become apparent.

Thanks for the pictures. I see that the pillars and cross beams are poured in concrete. I have always been under the impression that the facade of this tower would be built much like 3 WTC. Steel beams covered with aluminum(?) panels.
If the concrete stays visible like 432 park that will give the tower a much more raw appearance. I like!
