Here'sone from a hike in Whitehorse.

Haven't been able to Photograph the one that comes in to the yard and hangs out with my dog.

Gorgeous. I really want to go to the Cypress Hills, after that, it looks like I have another Canadian desert to visit!

Cypress Hills is amazing from the photos I've seen, bring your SPF 40 !

That isn't the Cypress Hills, there are no sand dunes in the Cypress Hills that I know of. The Cypress Hills are more like the foothills and are located in the extreme SE of Alberta and SW Saskatchewan. For some really cool sand dunes check out the Sand Hills in SW Saskatchewan.

We know that. We were talking about that I already wanted to go to Cypress Hills, and now that I've seen those pictures Cyrodill posted, I have an entirely new desert that I need to see as well

On the TCH when you turn to go south towards Maple Creek (and Cypress Hills) you can turn north instead and head to the Great Sand Hills.
