It was around lunch time when I went by. There were a lot of workers on the site. Looks like piles have arrived. We'll probably see excavation shortly.

No underground element?

If not, then this'll get going quickly.

Random Question, but what is the building going up on the other side of the bridge? It popped up so quickly and it is taller than what I thought it would have ended up being.

Thanks. It is really awesome to see all this growth around the bridge. Makes the city looking more impressive when getting off the highway ha.

Indeed. 1 Water street is very prominent from the BFB, the EL and I-95. These two buildings will really change the view when you approach from Camden.

The top floor of construction on One Water Street is now level with the roadway on the Ben.

Easier to access the One Water page from The Bridge page.

^^I get what you are saying - level with highways, bridge traffic.

And from above. This is going to be a great vantage point as it goes up, will hopefully get some great pictures over the next couple months.

Friday, 9-25. Nobody working, but the hole seems deeper.

And there were army personnel all around Old City even though the Pope is still in NY.
