mcminsen, thanks! And great photo set and downtown skyline! I was up on Grouse when I heard the horn of Disney's cruise ship sailing out of the harbour.

I take it that you like HDR photography? Nice stuff.

I have yet to visit Harbour Center viewing platform. Been living on such a high floor for so long, that never felt the urge to visit, but now that I am out in the suburbs, it might be nice to come down and Van from above.

We did an SSP meet up there several years ago, only time I've ever been up there. It's a great view for someone who needs to get up high but not particularly different than what you have already experienced.

I say leave it until you have a good reason to get up

I have lived in Vancouver since 1987 and used to work at SFU Harbour Centre and still never went up to the observation tower.

Nice pic.
There's symmetry in the old house, despite the staircase, and the lines on the adjacent walls focus sightlines (like vanishing point lines) on the old house.

I wonder if Almond Mounds is product placement or part of the movie.

Nice! This is definitely on my todo. Have to bring my zoom lens with me when.

How did the climb take you? Did you walk from the harbour?

Was just going by the library today and spotted this group posing for some photos. They are the Tiddley Cove Morris English Folk Dancers.
