Beautiful buildings, but there are only a few of us and some, like myself, don't have the skills to properly represent them in diagram form.

You should try drawing yourself. Practise on smaller buildings first and work your way up. It's easier than it looks, it just takes practise.

I would like to help, it would be easy for me to draw some, mainly the first, but sorry i can't, not drawing anymore. I used to work with powerpoint, the unique guy here with this method, i mean any graphic software is able for a touch, depending on what you feel of your abbility, your talent to feel yourself amasing and bringing you satisfaction of doing. All them in market are valuable for a try. Good luck.

Just start off slowly with small buildings and draw what you see. As you practise, you'll be able to take on larger buildings.

it is not that hard to start from scratch if you do a detail first of a boxy building, then using copy & paste to the rest, with some randomly things. Try with a small one first, just to get the right feeling. This is the point, you have always to start from nothing, because you can't use already done parts from somewhere else, see rules, and many tutorials already written in many threads. Spread in net has also CS4 tutorials to see what to do nicely... If you have Photoshop is already a great start. Then step by step see your improvements. Nothing is a sudden here. Of course, using some 3D softwares modellers like sketchup or any other one better like 3DStudio, Rhinocerus, CADs etc. helps you making several views and easier sometimes modelling, like Matthew does, but not necessary of course. Effects you can always do very good afterwards at photoshop, has many illusions there. Do like your tumb says, only parallel perspective, am mainly concentrated just at the object itself. Avoid inclinated lines and curves at beggining, this is the most hard to do in 2d, but not in 3d. Show us for help.
Then, the most important of everything, you are independent and don't have always to ask for a drawing request to your hobby.

For the volume, i would say a very good precise start. Then you probably can renderize it or making details further with other software.

Will do the drawing for you, but someone has to include the bldg card.
