LOL about the raincoat.

I hadn't noticed that before. I did some digging and found an old postcard of the First Baptist Church (it's in the left column). There's also some other neat old buildings in the set. It does look like there were doorways there some time ago, but I can't determine the usage. Take a look:

It took forever, somewhere around 2 hours I believe. I didn't do it for long, thank god. I loved Watertown (and Ottawa) though.

I've always wondered what Watertown looked like. With a little re-hab some of those buildings could be quite beautiful.
Thanks for the tour.

Nice to see pics of Watertown. Before we got cable @ our camp in the Adirondacks, we only got like 3 channels on the tube. channel 3 outta Syracuse, a channel outta Utica and when the winds blew from up north channel 7 out of Watertown. God I love cable

Thanks for this tour! I been there once, very long ago. It's way way way up north in NY State. If I recall correctly, the Watertown area has been hit by numerous northeastern quakes.

Watertown's northern half is more blue collar, working class and the southern half is more middle/upper middle class. Not a bad small city.....
