They also sell the Rancilio Silvia, which is a superb model for under $1000 but it's a single-boiler, non-heat-exchanger machine so if you're making anything with steamed milk it's not as convenient as a heat-exchanger or a dual-boiler machine. But people do it and it has a massive user base for instructional vids etc.
Thanks sir. I did head over there today. Great service as you said. They were really helpful for sure. It was surprising to see such a small kitchen store stocking $2000 espresso machines!

Stopped by the Casel site yesterday to check things out and get some grub. What a nice development. The montreal smoked meat sandwiches we had from the Red Wagon crew were delicious!

The Jelly "You Gotta Eat Here" episode aired a couple of hours ago on Food Network. Congrats to the Jelly crew.

Very cool, did they send a Tweet out that they were filming that day. It's not every day that you have the Mayor, Rusty and John Gilchrist in the room on one day...and that hot chick

FU$% YEAH!! I am definitely going to hit that place up as much as possible. I heard it is going to be reasonably priced Italian food and well-priced wine. I might take my gf there tomorrow night.

Finally. Was wondering if they were ever going to open or if it had fallen apart.

they left out my whole one on one :-( just one brief shot of me stuffing my face.

Am in St John's right now for the first time and very impressed with the food and in particular the coffee scene here. Any of The Rocket, Post Espresso Bar or Fixed Coffee could go toe to toe with any coffeehouse in the country. Rocket uses Phil & Sebastian beans for their espresso!

The Second Cup location in Mission has closed, and is presently being gutted. Judging by the banner that just went up, the space is being taken over by a Mucho Burrito (www.muchoburrito.com).

I drove by National (next to the ship and anchor) pretty late last night and it looked as though it was open. The renovations they've done to the building are a significant improvement. It's great to have so many new places opening up in the Beltline, Mission and LMR this summer.

I was there once and will not return - the most apt description I could think of was "the Subway of kabob houses".

I found the "meat" to be a mushy mess of blandness, the pita was dry and the two sauces I tried were so overloaded with sugar that they killed any other flavor left in my sandwich. There are much better kabob options in this city.

Mucho Burrito = finally a decent fast food mexican place near downtown.

Had lunch at Cedar's Deli on Edmonton Trail & ~30th Ave. NE yesterday. Very tasty, in the Schwarma/Falaffel vein. Had a chicken & falaffel platter which included a wide variety of veggies and salads all looking very well prepared witha few interesting twists on 'normal'. However, I must say I was a bit baffeled when the guy putting together the platter simply piled everything in one mound on the plate. While still quite tasty I can't help but feel enjoying the subtlety or the individual salads & such would have been even better. I do expect to go back.

The Play & Trade video game store in Aspen Landing is also being turned into a Mucho Burrito, which is great news. Now I just need Noodle Box to close down and small pub to go in.

I would like a Mucho Burrito somewhere in the NE.

(I know that the Country Hills one is technically in the NE)

Noodle Box - lol!

I tried Clive last night. A good burger, not the best ever, but I would go back.
I like their CB concept which includes sourcing locally or non-"corporate" which means no Pepsi or Coke.
Also beer and wine is a nice option for a burger joint!
