I think some elements of HDR can be visually interesting, but I think it's easy to overdo it.

Agreed, it's the first time I've really messed around with it though I think the shots turned out well.

I guess it all depends on what fits your eye.

They are nice pics, but yeah.. a little too much HDR for my tastes. The one of the boy looks like an oil-painting almost.
