Am I the only one who likes 510 Bremner Boulevard? It's continuous from bottom to top, no random unnecessary architectural elements, which are more often than not badly executed. It's a box where you can feel the sharpness in its 90° corners. And, it has no balcony.

I like it. More distinctive than many other towers in the area.

Funny how that one is considered a shorty.

Last time I went to Toronto was in 2008. I can't wait to see in person how much it has changed!

well, 250m is "filler" in his books, so why would anything shorter than the tallest 10% of towers under construction downtown not be considered a "shorty"

Filler has nothing to do with height.

Filler has a helluva lot to do with height. And, I'd still consider 150 metres very tall despite the 25 buildings standing taller and the 15 more rising to eclipse it. It's a height that stands out anywhere in the skyline outside of a few small blocks in the central business district.

nope, it has more to do with how much forgiveness the architecture requires

Based on Caltrane's logic, Dubai isn't a city of tall towers; it's has a handful of tall towers, and a ton of 300-metre shorties.

None of that has nothing to do with whether a building is filler or not. It's all about it's location, it's neighborhood, and the plot size.
