Yep, he will be fun to watch even in those ugly orange jerseys. Will make watching the Flames beat the Oilers even more enjoyable! Problem is Lucic didn't need to be done and Drai could have been done last year on the cheap.

Expect the Flames to be much better this year, took them till about the 2/3 way into the season to get their shit together. Oilers are going to have a LOT of pressure on them now, something that group isn't used to. Can they handle it?

If our goalis stop some pucks, and our D doesn't turn the puck over every other time they touch it, then the BoA should be really good this year. The Oilers were the Flames kryptonite last year, and the Flames aren't happy about it.

And what about the seasons before that? It's hilarious watching Oilers fans act like their previous decade of suckage never happened.

Wrong. We're well aware of exactly what happened and how bad we sucked.

A decade of inept ownership, management and coaching as well as a boatload of overpaid, underachieving, questionable players.

We lived through all of the BS and are finally happy to have things going in the right direction.

0-3-1 from Flames perspective, we got an OTL point to build on. And Ebs is gone, I think he got half his points against the Flames! Going to be good.

Let the Oiler fans have their moment, the Flames ran the train on them for the last decade and that couldn't have been easy to watch. This year it should be all out war, and I'm f'n stoked for it!

Soon to be 3 Preds D-man? Hope so.

P.K. Subban was at Andrei Markov's wedding, and now we're crying
http://montrealgazette.com/sports/ho...ow-were-crying

I wonder why Weber wasn't at that wedding... must be a super good teammate.

EDIT: What a boss PK is, in London for Wimbledon and then in Moscow, Russia less than 24 hours later for the wedding.

When you make 8 mil a year I guess you can afford it...

Your bandwagoning is a bit ridiculous Niko, I get that you like PK and all but turning your back on a team like that and turning to another one when they happen to have playoff success, it's just phony. When you cheer for a team you don't abandon them when they hit bumps on the road. Or else the Oilers and Leafs wouldn't have any fans left

Well said Skahigh. I strongly disagree with how the Habs are run sometimes but it's my team and I will continue cheering for the logo. We really need Markov though. Ffs Bergevin what are you doing?

If the Leafs fans jumped off the Blue and White Bandwagon the team would have almost no fans by now. You gotta support your home team through thick and thin. For Leaf fan's it looks like 50 years of hanging in there might finally lead to something.

Yes, looking forward to a Oilers/Leafs SC match up within a couple of seasons.

Oh PK...

It's kind of weird seeing all those Habs jerseys at Markov's wedding now that is he a free agent.

Hurricanes to be Sold

Word is the Carolina Hurricanes are on the verge of being sold for around
$500 million. Looks like that will be the starting price for an expansion fee.

Could this mean that Quebec City might actually get their team back?
