And I read in the news today that Calgary is on the verge of a new housing boom.

Keynote II in Calgary moving along reallly quickly!

Taken from Keynote I

Here's what the complex will eventually look like:

(the taller of the 3 towers is the one UC, the other two are completed and occupied)

Thanks man! Updated the primary list.

Oh by the way, does anyone know whether The Mark, Altitude, Altoria or the Marriott are topped out yet?

Altitude is pretty close to being topped out, it might be missing 1 more floor and the roof ornament. Altoria isn't even above ground yet. The Marriott has about 15/40 floors built.

Okay cool. That's a nice bit of diversification eh? Ensures that there will be at least one major tower UC for the next 3 years lol

^Yeah, and perhaps longer than that. Construction for the Deloitte Tower should start in the fall, and Icone might start around then too, but probably more likely winter/spring. Roccabella (120M)/L'Avenue (175M)/Tour des Canadiens (160M) will likely all start early next year.

That's pretty insane. If that does come to pass, Montreal will have more towers UC than both Calgary and Vancouver for the first time since the 90s! Quite impressive!

Only took about 7 pages for people to simmer down.

Keynote looks awesome, very cool design. It's nice to know that Canada is still building up even in uncertain times. I wish Ottawa was part of that, sadly this isn't the case. One day... one distant day. =x

I have to say that Oasis is one of the very few buildings that looks better in real life than as a render.

Where did the 123 m for Altoria come from? I haven't seen that number before.

Also, digging has started for Le Roccabella (40 floors, 147 M according to La Presse).

I believe the official height for Altitude is 124m. As for the first Roccabella tower, even if it is digging, that doesn't qualify as u/c on SSP, right?

It depends, if you're on the Vancouver forum and even mention that a building is UC when it is still in excavation, it means you are a complete asshole and should have your first born murdered in front of you.

In Toronto, a building is UC 3 days before the first shovel is in the ground.

Thanks for the new info on Altitude.
