Thanks sponge...had no idea it hadnt opened!

Poor Mavi. What once was a great jeans brand has become mediocre.
So whats left of them? The Yaletown shop?

what is happening at Pacific centre? Two large spaces, one where Tristan and Esprit were and the space beside la Senza on their website say coming soon! Does anyone know which retailers they are?? My bets Victoria's Secret, Abercrombie and Fitch or True Religion, or 7 For all Mankind.

My money's on Victoria's Secret..... that store is exploding in West Edmonton Mall so I think they want to get into Vancouver very fast.

My doubts on Abercrombie is two fold.

One I work at Hollister and have heard little talk of it.....secondly its not a very big space (Tristen/Espirt) so I doubt this will be for them (unless they can somehow find space for a detached stockroom and put in a chute/vacuum system between both.

Yes it's in the Dominion building, looks like they are talking advantage of the Canucks run, the only items I can see in the windows are jerseys.

That's a skyscraper sin in this city, as a punishment you will need to google it and then read the entire wiki entry on it.

nice

was down at the bay this afternoon - the recently renovated 2nd floor is half empty looks like they are going to redo or change the other part that didn't get the renovation - and the 3rd floor is looking much better now but not renovated

is "the room" going to be on the 2nd floor?

they also have a diesel section for men has its own entrance from the skytrain - looks like a diesel store - quite nice

Is that the space at the entrance from Granville Street (on the level between the sets of stairs) - the space that they've never been able to get anything to succeed in (from optical to underwear)?

Mens wear floor is shifting soon so Diesel and bunch of other brands will be moving while they do renovations to the "white space" for men.

The Diesel boutique is actually doing very well in that space. Diesel is a brand that sells itself and has a very strong following.

So "The Room" will have another room within it called "The Platinum Room". Which will house the very very high end fashion. Only way to get in is with a key card. Only a few rich ladies will have access to it. Saw the photos today. WOW. Its really something to see folks.
