The second leg of my South East Asian travels took me to Singapore having got the train down from the middle of Malaysia. I didn't expect to love Singapore too much, but it was a lot less sterile than I had expected, and I actually really enjoyed it. I have tried to show a more human side to the often captured architecture and skyline (though of course I have included some of that as well).
Singapore is basically SimCity in an island jungle. The new Safdie resort just looks sick. I love the fact that everything on the left side of your first photo wasn't there the last time I was there in 2006.
Excellent photos.

Bugis junction, Raffles Place, Little India, Chinatown - covered very well.
And it's always funny how people often think of Singapore as sterile - I actually think of it in reverse: it's an Oasis in the middle of dirty Asia (not to say dirty Asia doesn't have its charms!).
