Interesting, maybe I'm color blind, but I see a skyline that is dominated by blue. Just for fun, I generated a few color palettes using that photo and they all came back looking something like this:

Looks pretty blue to me... Anyway, not trying to start a war. Individually, I like most of the buildings that were built and are being built. I'm just a little concerned about the things I pointed out in my original post. I'm glad to hear that most of you don't share my concerns - being remote, I have to rely on you locals to take these photos and keep us all informed on Austin development. I really appreciate everyone's contributions to the forum and your responses and opinions to/on my post.

I'm pretty sure the glass is clear but looks blue because glass is reflective and the sky is blue.

I had an impromptu visit to the roof of the Shore condos in Rainey tonight. Took a couple of panos with my phone. Sorry for the horizontal size...

I wish I had access to a better camera that can take night photos.

Tonight's episode of Fear the Walking Dead on AMC featured Austin.
Many good shots of Austin's skyline should it ever fall into zombie apocalypse-induced decay.

I just came here to post the same thing. Most of the episode was shot inside the old Breckenridge Hospital. Doesn't look like they needed to do much set dressing to give it that post-apocalyptic look.

There really are a ton of trees on the west side of town. Awesome shot.

Such an amazing picture. If west campus gets a tall one, it would be like another skyline right?

Not to mention Brackenridge hospital....that could bridge the gap between dt and WC.

7:30 pm on Thursday vs. 7:30 pm on Friday. The weather was completely different but both produced beautiful views of the west side of Downtown Austin.

1st pic is interesting.

Question about the 3rd pic. I noticed 4 red tower lights to the right of the 4 Seasons Residencies. I don't remember seeing those before. Are those recent towers? Where are they located exactly??

On second thought, I think I know where they are and probably have seen them before. Just never gave much thought about them until now.
