NYC Woolworth Tower Condo Priced at Record $110 Million

The $110 million penthouse is about 8,975 square feet with a 584-square-foot terrace. The four-bedroom condo with a private elevator spans nine stories, with the primary living space on the 50th and 51st floors, according to the offering plan. A great room and wine cellar make up the 53rd floor, and the 55th through 58th levels in the cupola include a library or media room and an observation deck at the top, the plan shows.

That will be amazing also.

Monthly common charges on the apartment are estimated to be $881, and a buyer will also be looking at $2,245 per month in property taxes.

Three two-bedroom units are also available, ranging from $4.56 million for a 1,543-square-foot apartment to $4.99 million for a 1,664-square-foot apartment. Buyers looking for more space can choose from six three-bedroom units — ranging from $5.25 million for 1,794 square feet to $8.1 million for 2,631 square feet – and two four-bedroom units, asking $9.2 million and $12.95 million.

And then there are the penthouses. The much-touted duplex crown jewel is likely to be listed for north of $60 million, but for now potential buyers will have to decide between a 3,173-square-foot, three-bedroom penthouse on the 76th floor asking $13.48 million, or $4,247 per square foot, and a 5,937-square-foot, five-bedroom penthouse on the 78th floor asking $27.5 million, or $4,632 per square foot.

Wow this is rising fast. I remember a couple of months ago being there in person and it was a stump. Great speed on this one. Already looking nice too with the facade; an indication of how 1920's meets 21st century.

Overnight work at Four Seasons gets OK from C.B.1

Amidst the seemingly never-ending construction in the Downtown area, the Four Seasons hotel and private residences project at 30 Park Place aims to limit its share of noise until the projected project completion date in June 2016.

Eric Reid, Four Seasons construction manager at Tishman Construction, spoke at a Community Board 1’s Financial District meeting last week to specifically address the ways in which more efficient construction methods could be used to reduce noise levels. Methods included only one lane closure, minimized truck loading and less equipment usage, all possible during night construction that runs from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.

The board’s committee approved the project’s night construction by agreeing to write a letter of acknowledgement to the city Dept. of Buildings, which wanted a show of support from the community board. The Four Seasons night construction is a part of the project’s precast panel erection phase in which approximately six concrete panels will be erected each night.

The 82-story building will have nearly 200 hotel rooms, 157 residences and a community park.

The project has been completed to the 40th floor, according to Dara McQuillan, a spokesman for Silverstein Properties, the developer of the project.

Hey guys im a journeyman formwork carpenter from western canada, just wondering what the going rate for carpenters in new york is?? Im really interested in wanting to have experience on a tall structure. Such as this, what are some good highrise construction companies to call. Plus i love the states so if anyone can help me out that would be so much appreciated thanks!!
