Certainly wasn't perfect but he was a man that spoke his mind and stuck to his word. It's a shame politicians aren't like that anymore.

Was a mayor who was responsible for the push behind many of landmark buildings the city of Vancouver still has. Vancouver was transformed from a little village to a city in a relatively short time. It is amazing how much was accomplished in terms of commercial development under his watch. If only today we had a mayor who actually gave a crap about business development like Tom Campbell did. RIP.
