Is the exterior stucco, like 717 Olympic? If so, then it's probably a good thing there will be billboards covering some of the building.

Very stylish hotel. I like the sleek, slenderness of the tower, with it's abstract shapes and colors. Way to go, LA

This building is completed and open (at least the Marriott). My sister stayed there over the weekend.

I bet...and this is just a hunch, that if LA Live had been located in another city...our friend ed would be singing its praises, saying how much more creative and innovative its design is over the bland facades of LA.
Since it appears open and taking business...im going to drop by there this coming weekend. Looks striking.
