Looks like Sydney can make the bottom of the list again, a 4-storey residence and dining hall is now under construction at CBU. The height is a guess, but an educated one based on their other residences.

On another note here are some updated photos of the Trillium project here in Halifax taken by very own Jonovision:

The following images were taken by WestAust of MtlUrb.com. Altitude's site has been fenced off, and it looks as though some minor digging has already begun.

Looks like construction on Altitude Montreal (32 floors), is just getting underway.

THis is excellent news! A great building that replaces a crumy blight on downtown's urban streetscape. Not a tall building but a nice one and that's one thing highrise construction in Montreal severely lacks nowadays!

Blu Rivage seen from east end Montreal. Kind of a neat angle I thought.

Not under construction yet.. but will be soon. New government building in Gatineau (15 fl).

The Thread.

And there is this one too a few blocks away - 16 floors. Not sure which one is taller

Thread

The building in the background is 72 Laval, which I think is on your list currently as Gatineau's tallest under construction.. it's just about done.

Believe it or not, it's actually a step up for Longueuil architecture-wise.

Here is a picture of The Narrows Condominiums, which was St. John's tallest under construction. The condo may be completed seeing these were taken in July by Architype.

I'm not sure what is the current tallest in the city is, there is a new residence being built at Memorial University but the size of it isn't exactly known it was suppose to be 6 stories at one point.

The YMCA is also building a new multi-purpose centre, again the height is unknown. Here is a link to see pictures of it. http://www.ynortheastavalon.com/building_concepts.php

As well construction is getting ready to start on a new building for the military. It will be a 4 storey building with a total building height of approximately 21 meters.

They are doing pre-demolition work for this one, so I guess that Regina's tallest u/c should be updated..

Mosaic Potash Tower, 84.5m, 20 floors

I'm not sure if this has already been updated or not, but Ottawa's previously tallest under construction is no longer the tallest.

EDC (previously tallest at 72m) is topped out but still lots more construction to go:
