It sure is beautiful down there. Now I just have to make it to Boston, the last major colonial area of America that I haven't seen.

Lovely thread. You hit a looootttt of places I've never been.

I visited Williamsburg a lot as a kid, and have been there briefly a couple of times as an adult, but I'd like to go back and look at it from a strictly urban perspective. The dual axis layout, with public buildings terminating all the main vistas, is really interesting and well-planned.
