Thanks yall's

I don't really adjust many settings in Kerk just add a nice sky and get the shadows right + add reflections.
This city is all editable Aleks so theres really no need to have to start again

Under construction is the Herringway Bridge which distributes traffic south west across the Ascot river - The bridge is supported temporarily while cabling is fitted .
In the background (2nd from left) is the new Foxmtbr & Ass. building

wow, I missed a couple of updates and was already wondering what you were up to.
This city does look amazing. THe golden lining on the bristol was very nice but I guess the silver one is more discreet.

Hey mo,

Would you mind posting a couple un-rendered pics? I'm interested to see what your basic setup looks like before rendering.

Thanks!

Very impressive city Mo. I like the fact that you city is stepping into the 'futuristic' mode, but not to the point where it doesn't look realistic. The whole highway/bridge concept adds much character to your city, and in some shots your skyline.

The building designs work very well together and sport a realistic feel. Between the layout, the buildings, and the infastructure, I'd say you're on the way to making an amazing city. I look foward to see what you come up with next.

Look great. It's kinda weird looking at the city un-rendered. I wanna see more buildings i your city though. It's a little spread out. Well, then again, it is in Australia and many skylines are like that (correct me if I'm wrong).

I love the way the skyline is spread out, looks good and just realalistic.

Yeah you really do an amazing water, and post modern buildings, plus your landmark bridge.

Sorry for the file loss. What ever happened to RX? Still got that file?

Yes, bring back RX. I liked it.

But sorry to hear about the file. My other files were erased on my old computer. I hate and love technology.

Thanks dudes something like that sucks so much you can't even think about it
The rebuild is going well and may be set around 2015 because i have always been interested in future technology, or how the world would be if we actually utilised technology for what its worth and the oldies didn't set us back with their cautious attitudes.

From now on i will only show pics when an area is completed.

n sorry Aleks , you always comment that it's spread out and i forget to say yer that's how the gold coast is but it's mostly cos i plan to add high rise first then fill the gaps later - hopefully i can get to that stage this time !!!!

RX is dead i'm afraid

RX RIP
Looks like you're in a good reconstruction mood. speaking of future technology, have you ever planned to do an arcology, I've made many in paper years ago, but kinda forgot abou them. like XSEED 4000, etc. Good that you're going for a futuristic look, as long as it's sound and not googie.

After all, Queensland 2015 might be a very promissing place. Australia is among the top 5 economically freest countries on earth, huge underpopulated, and only English speaking country in Asia where Chinese aren't a majority! LOL

Oh, and it's the only true ally of the United States.

Lol yeah i'm happy here.

V-X I look at movies set in the future and just roll my eyes at how far fetched and obsolete most of the writers ideas are. My ideas are practical.

Have you got any pics of your work?

Well i just made a test render and thought i may aswell show the progress.

I'm going for a modern day high density Vienna that lies inland.
This area of the Gold Coast the waterways already exist.

The tallest is the 3rd design Foxmtbr and Associates building.
