Meh. Would be nice to see something bigger on this site.

Not sure downtown needs any more hotels anyway.

Downtown may get a new hotel brand in prime location

A Maryland-based hotel franchise announced plans Tuesday to build a new hotel in downtown Kansas City.

Choice Hotels International Inc., a publicly traded company that operates the Cambria hotel brand, plans to build a six-story 149-room Cambria Hotel at the southwest corner of Ninth and Wyandotte streets. The proposed hotel would be next to the upscale 21c Museum Hotel and local bar John’s Big Deck.
