I think it looks beautiful. That wood? looks great, and I really like that tile.

They were still on after 7:00 AM this morning. The crown really looks good lit up. Too bad the tower isn't 200' taller. Now where have I heard that before...

Nice. I was starting to worry. Great pic, by the way, SkyPie. I love the density shown there late at night.

Did anyone catch it tonight??? The crown was all alight in soft white for about an hour I'd estimate in the early evening. It looks great, not what I was originally picturing but much like a kid brother to Frost, which is fitting since both were developed by Cousins. It's very corporate and contemporary looking, and would be right at home in Chicago or NYC. Great turnout all around.

I still haven't seen it lit in person. :/ If you go to the JW Marriott webcam, and click on Jan 7 at 6:10PM, you can see it (kinda) at the top left corner after zooming in a bit.

Looks like the Hobby buildings light bill is going up, but their a/c bill is going down. I remember when that trio was so isolated from the rest of dt.

I know. I think it's great that it looks so different from different angles. This one turned out nicely.

I keep looking at this photo and in the background I clearly hear..."This used to be my playground...this used to be my childhood dream..."

The top of the tower is lit again this evening. This is a little bit better picture than the last one I posted.

Hopefully it's lit for good this time. I'd go look if I wasn't sick.
