here's one from dt_toronto_geek over at urbantoronto.ca.....trump is up about 5 or 6 floors above grade now....slow but steady progress...

Well, people can say what they like about Trump, but you have to admit he manages to get things done. This one is making good progress.

Again ... Trump is not developing this property. (It would likely still be a parking lot if he were) It's being built by Talon International (a company set up by a Russian billionaire specific to this building) with Trump's hotel management company managing the property.

How often nowadays is the name on the building the owner and/or builder?

Though born in Russia, Mr. Shnaider is actually a Canadian citizen, whom like many others, immigrated to Canada when he was very young. Talon is based in Toronto.
